Every year, Princeton University receives about 39,600 applications. Out of these, only 1,790 are accepted and about 77% or 1,380 decide to attend the school come September. Princeton is known for its highly selective undergraduate program so only about 5% are accepted each year.

When preparing to apply, aim for a 1,500 - 1,570 for your Combined SAT scores or 34 - 36 for the ACT. Your application will be required to have none, but it is also recommended you include none. Princeton requests a $70 fee for undergraduate applicants and $75 for Graduates.

It’s important to keep these dates in mind when applying, whether for Early Action or Regular Decision. Early Action applications are due by November 1 and you should expect to hear back in Mid-December. For regular applicants, have your paperwork in by 11:59 pm local time on January 1. You will be notified before March 31. Either applicant must let the school know intent by May 1.
