Students can choose to participate in the over 300 student run organizations, featuring political, cultural, ethnic, religious, interest, and event groups. For musically inclined students, The Brown Band or Ballroom Dance are suggested. For students who love the outdoors, there is the Brown Outing Club. There are also several publications including the Brown Daily Herald and Brown Noser and the media group, Brown TV. Fraternities, sororities, and public service groups are also available on campus.
