Campus life and extracurricular activities are a huge part of the Yale University experience. In 2014, the school actually had 385 registered student organizations with another possible 100 coming in the near future. But make sure to cheer alongside Handsome Dan, the bulldog mascot, at the Yale Bowl.

For more learning opportunities, students can head over to the Yale University Library, which serves all 14 schools within the system, and holds 15 million volumes. It’s the third largest academic library in the country. The school also offers academic and career counseling, employment services, on-campus day care, and placement services for graduates.

A lot of history takes place at Yale, which includes the invention of the Frisbee and the first ice hockey game in the US, but students are always invited to make their own history through their experience at Yale.
