(Up to $1,000 Per Year) Can be stacked with the Referral Scholarship only, and with a maximum of 4 referrals but not to exceed the cost of tuition only. This scholarship is a tuition only scholarship offered to first-year students and incoming transfer students. The Patriot Scholarship is based on academic achievement and is awarded to students with a minimum high school GPA of 2.80 on a 4.0 scale and a combined SAT score of 950 or above on the Critical Reading and Mathematics portions of the test OR a composite ACT score of 17. Transfer students will be awarded the Patriot Scholarship if their cumulative transfer GPA is a minimum of 2.50-2.99 on a 4.0 scale. Students receiving the Patriot Scholarship may continue receiving for 8 semesters providing they meet the following requirements: A. Maintain a grade of “B” or above in Christian Service B. Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.50-2.99 or above. If the student’s cumulative GPA should fall below a 2.5, the student becomes ineligible for scholarship funds until the cumulative GPA is raised to 2.5 or higher. C. Be a full-time student (12 or more credit hours) for the entire semester. D. Any student placed on disciplinary probation is subject to forfeiting scholarship funds. E. All general requirements for initial qualifications must be upheld.
