(Up to $5,000 Per Year) Can be stacked with the Patriot Honor Scholarship and a maximum of 4 Referral Scholarships but not to exceed the cost of tuition only. This is a tuition only scholarship offered to beginning first-year students and incoming transfer students. Students who are eligible to apply for this scholarship must have a minimum high school GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and a combined SAT score of 1040 or above on the Critical Reading and Mathematics portions of the test OR a composite ACT score of 20. Transfer students may apply if they meet the SAT or ACT requirement and have a cumulative transfer GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Students receiving the department scholarship may continue to receive it for up to 8 semesters providing they meet the following requirements: A. Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. B. Maintain continuous enrollment in their program during the fall and spring semesters. (A student may transfer to a different program ONE time, IF the student meets the qualifications for that program, and IF the student is approved by the program chair/committee.) C. Be a full-time student (12 or more credit hours) for the entire semester. D. Maintain a passing grade in Christian Service. E. Any student placed on disciplinary probation is subject to forfeiting scholarship funds. F. All general requirements for initial qualifications must be upheld.
