West Texas A & M University (out-of-state)

The scholarship will fund nine individual scholarship awards annually with two from the College of Business, two from the Department of Agriculture, one from the Department of Education and four University-wide. Recipients must be juniors, seniors, or graduates with a declared major and degree plan in that major. Emphasis shall be given, but not limited, to students from the Panhandle or South Plains regions of Texas. Student will be required to write a short personal biography and prepare to be personally interviewed about the information in their scholarship application. Students must maintain a good standing with the University and maintain a 2.75 GPA with a minimum course load of 12 hours per semester for undergraduate students or nine hours per semester for graduate students. The scholarship is renewable when criteria are met.
