Akol Aguek Scholarship
-Designated for new admitted first-year and transfer Vermont residents who have left their home country as a refugee, and who have demonstrated academic talent. -Recipients are selected based upon review of the admission application and are awarded a merit-based scholarship of $1,000 annually for four years (eight semesters). No separate application is required. -The Akol Aguek Scholarship will be awarded in addition to any previous scholarships awarded. -The recipient must be enrolled in 12 or more credits per semester and maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0. Renewal eligibility is evaluated at the end of each spring term.
