Towson University (out-of-state)

This scholarship is open to incoming first-time freshmen. It is only awarded to students entering in the fall semester (no scholarships are awarded to students entering in the spring semester.) Scholarship Criteria : Each year we offer these scholarships to our strongest applicants based on a competitive selection process that considers GPA, SAT, and our available funding. First-time Freshman Criteria : The final eligibility criteria for each award year are determined in March just before awards are made. During prior years, offers were only made to students with SATs near 1800 and GPAs of 3.8 or higher. Award amount : Maryland residents may be awarded between $3,000 to $6,000. Non-Maryland Residents may be awarded between $6,000 to $14,000 Award renewable : The scholarship is awarded for four years if the student maintains a 3.0 cumulative TU GPA each semester.
