ETS Lenora M. Green Scholarship
This national scholarship opportunity is designed to support any full-time freshman, sophomore or junior at a public or private four-year U.S. college or university. The scholarship award is $20,000 and the application opens February 1, 2024 and the deadline is March 15, 2024. The scholarship is named in honor of the late Lenora M. Green, former Executive Director of the Center for Advocacy & Philanthropy at ETS. She focused CAAP’s mission on using social investment and advocacy programs to mitigate challenges in higher education faced by disadvantaged groups by identifying, supporting, and helping national, regional, and local organizations that advance quality and equity in education. Who Is Eligible to Apply? Any student who: -is enrolled full-time as a freshman, sophomore or junior at a public or private four-year U.S. college or university -has a current GPA of 3.5 or higher -demonstrates leadership abilities and commitment to community service -demonstrates financial need -is a US citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 How to apply: To apply for the scholarship you must provide: -a one-page statement outlining your financial need an official transcript -three recommendation letters -two essays (see application for additional details) Application open February 1 to March 15.
