Award: $1,000 - $2,000 This scholarship was established by Robert L. Sawyer and Janet A. Walsek for students majoring in the Henson School of Science and Technology who have also made contributions to the life and activities within the Department of Music. To be considered for this scholarship students must meet the following criteria: -Enrolled full-time in one of the following majors: biological sciences, chemistry, geoscience, mathematics, computer science, data science, integrated science or physics -cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher, -Successfully completed their freshman year as a major in one of the above mentioned disciplines, -Must be a performing member of the Salisbury Symphony Orchestra, Salisbury Jazz Ensemble or Salisbury Concert Band each semester. Preference will be given to students recognized by the Department of Music for outstanding musicianship. This scholarship is not renewable but students can reapply. The Department of Music scholarship committee in the Fulton School will select recipient.
