La Salle University

Each year, La Salle University awards merit-based Christian Brothers’ Scholarships to incoming freshmen. These awards provide a full scholarship toward the cost of tuition for up to four years of undergraduate study at La Salle. Eligibility: New full-time incoming freshmen with an extensive service background and a demonstrated interest in future service may apply for the Community Service Scholarship. Candidates must commit themselves to the requirements of the scholarship outlined below. The application for the Class of 2027 will be available after May 1 for students who have submitted their non-refundable enrollment deposits. Christian Brothers Scholarship Applicants are reviewed holistically with particular emphasis placed on cumulative grade point average, strength of curriculum and academic and extracurricular leadership as evidenced by honors and awards. Previous Christian Brothers Scholarship recipients have ranked in the top 10 percent of their graduating class and achieved a median grade point average of a 4.0 over their first three years of high school. Requirements: Christian Brothers’ Scholarships are valued at the amount of the annual full cost of tuition and are renewable each year for four years if normal progress is being made toward the degree and if the student maintains a minimum grade point average of 3.0.
