The Urban Teaching Scholarship

The Urban Teaching Scholarship was established in 2008 by an anonymous donor. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial support for a senior who is committed to urban teaching. -Renewable: No -Need-based: No -Essay: Please discuss your commitment to teaching in an urban setting. Please limit your response to no more than 500 words. -Recommendation: Two letters of recommendation from individuals who can discuss your commitment to urban education are required. -GPA: 3.0 Cumulative -Class: Senior -Major: Education -Preferences: Full time -Additional Preferences: The candidate must do student teaching in an urban area -Additional Preferences: Plan to teach in an urban setting following graduation Current Students: Complete this application by December 31, 2023 (notified by March 31) Currently enrolled students in a teacher education major are eligible.
