The Jeff and Heidi Bakken Future Special Education Teacher Scholarship was established in 2009 by Jeff and Heidi Bakken to provide assistance for outstanding special education majors who exemplify the excellence of special education graduates from Illinois State. -Renewable: No -Need-based: No -Listing: Demonstrated evidence of commitment to serving persons with disabilities via service and/or leadership activities -Recommendation: Two. From academic advisors and/or faculty members who can speak to the candidate's passion about the field of special education. -GPA: 3.0 Cumulative -Class: Junior or senior -Major: Department of Special Education -Preferences: Full time Current Students: Complete this application by December 31, 2023 (notified by March 31) Currently enrolled students in a teacher education major are eligible.
