The Science Scholars Program looks to increase the success of students interested in scientific careers in the field(s) of research, academia, government, and/or industry. Students who are accepted into the program have the opportunity to join a learning community with regular extra-curricular activities. These students will also have access to specialty seminar courses that focus on preparing students for research placements as well as graduate school and/or employment. Finally, qualifying students also have the opportunity to access funding for research and travel to a research conference. Award: Qualifying students are awarded up to $9,000 per year in need-based scholarship support. Criteria: Biology, Environmental Science and Animal Behavior Ecology and Conservation majors planning to attend graduate school, or seek employment in a science-related field; Incoming Transfer Students with a 2.7 GPA or better
