For incoming physics and engineering students. Amount: Two full-tuition scholarships and two $10,000 per year scholarships are awarded to deserving incoming students planning to pursue a primary major in the Department of Physics and Engineering at Bethel starting in the fall of 2022. Renewal: Renewable for three years (four years total), provided recipients continue to have a primary major in the Department of Physics and Engineering, make satisfactory progress towards their degree, and maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50. Eligibility: At the time that Bethel reviews the student's admission portfolio, scholarship applicants must: be U.S. citizens or permanent residents be high school seniors during the 2021-2022 school year have an unweighted high school grade point average of at least 3.50 (4.0 scale) although there is no ACT or SAT score requirement, the strength of the application will be greatly enhanced by a good ACT or SAT score You must attend one of the visit and interview events on February 4 or 8, 2022, to be eligible for a scholarship. If you are unable to attend, you will not be eligible to receive a scholarship. *Please note, the B.S. in Software Engineering is not an eligible program for this scholarship.
