Wisconsin Distinguished Scholars Award
Beloit College is pleased to present the Wisconsin Distinguished Scholars Award, recognizing excellence in academic achievement, to Wisconsin residents who are admitted to the college with a 3.5 grade point average or higher. This $128,000 scholarship (up to $32,000 in each of four years) is awarded in the spirit of Beloit's first student, Joseph Collie who enrolled in 1847 and became the first graduate from a Wisconsin college or university four years later. While many students at large private and state institutions take more than four years to graduate, our seniors graduate on time and enter the job market earlier having paid tuition for just four years. 92% of our most recent graduates were employed or in graduate school within 6 months of graduation.
